Sponsors of Documentary Voices: Pulling Focus share the commitment of the producers to developing documentary filmmaking as a more effective vehicle for inter-cultural, inter-religious and international communication.  This program-rich symposium is aimed at breakthrough citizen diplomacy through the medium of documentary film.  We welcome individuals and organizations as partners in an effort to use film, culture and the arts to promote a more accessible Gulf region.

This international event will attract guests from Arab nations, Iran, and the United States.  Sponsors will reach audiences beyond the festival, touching the other audiences with which our filmmakers connect. 

Promotional campaigns are local, regional, national and international, in English, Arabic and Farsi, in print, broadcast and on the web.  Marketing targets media, filmmakers, enthusiasts, and students as well as general audiences.

Sponsors may underwrite the screening of selected films.  This includes covering the filmmaker’s travel and accommodations.

Sponsors may underwrite a specific panel or workshop.

Sponsors may subsidize other events such as opening night, touring Dubai, touring Studio City, Media City or seeing Dubai-Land.

Sponsors will be recognized with personal thanks from the host of each screening, session and/or seminar to which the sponsor has contributed.

Through your sponsorship, Documentary Voices: Pulling Focus participants can generate new partnerships and projects that will contribute to more authentic views of the greater Gulf region.
